Best Racing Skiff: Construction - sheet cedar on silver spruce with canvassed deck fore and aft. With original riggers by Matt Wood of Putney made by Cyril Bishop and a sliding seat. It was built to the same dimensions as Stuart McKensie when he won the Diamond Sculls of Henly for the 2nd of his 7 wins. It must be the best example of this type of construction left.
This craft has been owned by John Warren since new and has been raced throughout England. It was constructed by the son of Roly Sims - Dick, who emigrated to Canada, in their Hammersmith workshop.
