Single seater canoe with wooden frame and covered with a rubberised canvas material made from a kit.
The canoe had been purchased in a kit form in the 1950's at the International Boat Show in Earls Court, London. The canoe was assembled and used, and attached to the canoe is a Thames Conservancy Certificate No 5861 authorising use of the canoe for the calendar year of 1963 (probably the last year that it was used).
Some time in the early 1980's the canoe was donated to the 2nd Felixstowe (St. John's) Scout Group and put into storage in their scout hut where it remained. It was never used by them on the water as it did not comply with Scout regulations and they did not want to alter or damage it. In 1999 it was donated to ISCA.
