This sailing fishing boat was used to catch pilchards, mackerel and herring off the coast of Devon and Cornwall.
Sunshine was kindly donated to the collection by Mr I. J. Constance of Bideford, Devon.

It is most likely that Sunshine was built in Appledore and most of them were built for fishing from the harbour of Clovelly the full name of the boat would be Clovelly Picarooner.
Looking at her condition I would take a guess at her build date being after 1920.
